Privacy Policy

Estimating, by Al's Building Group, Inc. Effective October 19, 2026.

Estimating ("the app") is a work tool for the staff of Al's Building Group, Inc., a design-build company in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is used to measure a job, price it and produce a proposal for the company's client. It shows no ads, does no tracking, and is not for sale to the public.

What the app collects

Everything below is entered or captured by the person using the app, is linked to that person's account, and is used only to make the app work.

• Client details the user enters: name, email, phone and job address.
• Photos and room scans the user takes of the job.
• Estimate and proposal content: rooms, measurements, work items, prices, proposal documents and the client's signature on a proposal.
• The user's account: the sign-in email and the account's ID.

Why

To produce estimates and proposals for the company's clients, and to keep a record of them. Nothing is used for advertising, analytics or profiling.

Camera and photos

The app asks for camera access to take photos of each room and to scan a room with the device's depth sensor (LiDAR). Photos the user picks from the photo library are only the ones the user chooses. The app does not use your location, contacts or microphone.

Where it is stored

In the company's own database, hosted by Supabase, and sent there over HTTPS. The app talks to that one server and no other. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting code.

Who it is shared with

Nobody, except the client a proposal is for. It is never sold, and never shared for advertising or tracking.

How long it is kept

Estimates and proposals are kept as business records. To have something corrected or deleted, email office@alsconstruction.com.

Accounts

Accounts are created by the company's administrator inside the app; there is no public sign-up. A user can ask for their account to be deleted: in Settings in the app (coming in the next version) or, until then, by email to office@alsconstruction.com. Deleting an account removes the account record and its associated personal data.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
